The console versions of Mojang's Minecraft will be updated this week with new items as well as fixes, features, and other items which will add a large amount of content to player-curated sandbox worlds.
Minecraft title update 14 introduces villager trading and emerald currency as well as anvils that can be used for equipment repair. The update also introduces new edibles such as carrots and potatoes. Games who are smart can create the "carrots-on-a stick" item to control pigs while riding them.
Title update 14 for Minecraft Xbox Live Arcade is now available. A PlayStation 3 patch is due on the 15th of April.
